Speesion: Tensai no Me 1 - Dotai

ASICS's Speesion series was an attempt to use simple games for visual acuity testing and training in order to replace more traditional methods. The four different Tensai no Me (Genius Eye) games each feature a distinct set of minigames designed to test and train different visual skills. This volume contains:

• Run: Tests dynamic visual acuity, e.g. the ability for the eye to track a moving object. Players have to follow groups of differently coloured birds as they move around the screen and correctly mark which ones travelled in which order.
• Jump: Tests eye movement, e.g. the ability to switch eyes quickly. Players have to follow groups of birds flying around obstacles and report on which birds in a scene met certain requirements.
• Open: Tests peripheral vision. Players watch groups of birds in their peripheral vision and need to distinguish the targets from decoys.
• Catch: Tests quick reactions. Players must identify which set of birds in a set has the most birds meeting certain criteria.
