Spicy Taxi

Spicy Taxi is an arcade game/ride hybrid exclusive to Sega's Joypolis chain of amusement parks. One of the players on a team takes the wheel of a tuk-tuk riding through the streets and jungle of Thailand in search of treasure while being supported by the tuk-tuk's other passengers. During the riding portion, the driver steers the tuk-tuk to try to collect as many coins as possible on the ground while avoiding obstacles. Aggressive wild animals can be chased off using the tuk-tuk's horns, with each of the passengers having a horn button to pitch in. Some enemies can be targeted by any player, while others require a particular player's horn to scare off. Occasional quiz questions pop up during the drive; players are rewarded with coins for answering correctly as quickly as possible. Occasional quick-time events require all the players on a team to join in to hit specific buttons in order to avoid obstacles.

Spicy Taxi is played by up to 20 players; there are five cars, each of which can hold up to four players. The tuk-tuks can rotate 360 degrees on the ground and tilt upwards to simulate the in-game action.
