Spider-Man: Homecoming - Virtual Reality Experience

Game cover: Spider-Man: Homecoming - Virtual Reality Experience

Description

Spider-Man: Homecoming VR game is more of a tech demo that served to promote the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movie with the same title. The game puts the player in shoes of Spider-Man superhero. There is no swinging at free will or exploring the city (which is all made possible in the second VR promo game for second MCU Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Far from Home), instead, the entire game takes place on a roof of a building letting the player look around and shooting at the nearby objects including balloons, glass bottles, wooden boards and such. There are three different weapon types Spider-Man can create with his web. A web swinging is actually used to grab and pull objects rather than pulling the player to a new location, web grenades can blow up more concrete objects and have a short explosion delay, and web bullets work as a machine-gun bullets for firing quickly at the targets. After target practice, Spider-Man will swing up on top of a nearby crane and see the explosion in the distance, followed shortly by a brief battle with Vulture, cutting out the story just as it starts, and advertising the movie before the end credits.
