StarCraft II: Nova Covert Ops - Mission Pack 1

StarCraft II: Nova Covert Ops: Mission Pack 1 is the first episode of the Nova Covert Ops add-on DLC campaign for StarCraft II. Taking place a few years after the events of Legacy of the Void, the story focuses on the character of Nova, a ghost operative in the service of the Dominion.

The mission pack includes the first three missions of the campaign. The story begins as Nova regains her senses in an unknown facility after what seems to have been an assignment, only to find that her mind has been wiped and that she is wanted by Dominion authorities for treason. On her quest to regain her memories and restore reputation, Nova uncovers a terrible plot threatening to bring turmoil to the Terran sector.

While the Nova Covert Ops missions utilise the core StarCraft II playing mechanics, there is a greater emphasis on tactics and stealth. The player controls either Nova alone or the Covert Ops Crew, a Terran faction. Between missions, Nova can be outfitted with different equipment that may give advantage depending on current objectives, including a jump suit and several alternate weapon choices. Existing Terran units also received new upgrades that can be used in the missions.
