StarFire
Description
StarFire is a simple, single-player puzzle played on a 3x3 grid. The game starts with one cell on the grid populated with a star. The player clicks on that star and it disappears/explodes but all cells horizontally and vertically touching the dead star's cell now contain a star. The player continues shooting stars and in so doing the adjacent stars will either gain a star if they were empty or lose a star if they were occupied. The objective is to fill all cells except the seed cell with a star. The player can either accepts a random seed cell or start a game in which the seed cell is specified.
The game is played in a small window, is mouse controlled and was written in Visual Basic 4.0 Clinton Graham. It was originally part of Clinton's Simple Logic Collection it has appeared as a standalone game in at least one compilation.
