Starclash

Starclash is a 1–2 player text-based space-themed strategy game of conquest for the TRS-80.

Starclash allows 2-player or 1-player versus computer game play, and allows saving and restoring sessions in progress. Gameplay is turn based, and opponents take turns giving commands to their holdings. At the beginning of each game, a star system map with multiple different connecting hubs between them is created. The player and their opponent both start by controlling 1–2 systems, and must build their resources by colonizing adjacent systems. This allows the player to create a manufacturing base that allows them to construct ships to war with their opponent. The winner, is ultimately the player which manages to conquer all enemy territory.
