Stargate

Stargate is a 1-player arcade game for the Dragon 32/64.

The player's task, as defender of the stargate, is to prevent the fleet of alien ships from leaving the galaxy through the stargate displayed at the center of the screen. The player controls a single ship in the center of the screen that can fire in the four cardinal directions. Enemy ships appear and fire towards the player, who must quickly turn to shoot incoming enemy fire and vessels. The player starts with three ships, and a new ship is awarded every 10,000 points. The game becomes harder the further the player progresses. There are three levels of difficulty.
