Galactic Raiders

Galactic Raiders is a 1-player arcade game for the Dragon 32/64.

The player controls a ship that moves laterally at the bottom of the screen and fires vertically forwards. Fleets of enemy ships swoop onto the screen and fire mercilessly towards the player. After all enemy ships have appeared, enemy vessels begin swooping towards the player firing multiple shots. The player starts with three lives, with the goal of clearing all enemy ships to enter the next more difficult stage. At the end of the game the player receives a score, a military rank, and lethality representing the percentage of their shots which successfully connected with an enemy.
