Strategy Heads
Description
Strategy Heads is an educational logic game. It is modeled like a TV: after selecting the character, the player switches through the game's sections with a TV remote control. When switching channels, there is a fictional advertisement to watch. The head part of the title comes from the stylized characters: they have small bodies and very big heads. The latter are photograph stills which are animated through stop motion. The main portion are three mini-games:
-
Eye Gotcha: a fictional game show loosely based on Jeopardy. The player chooses between four question categories with three questions each. All questions are multiple-choice and deal with shapes, e.g. determining the correct shadow or projection. The harder the question, the more money the correct answer earns.
-
Mystery Theatre: A mastermind variant. The player chooses a color for each of three slots and then is told if the color is correct, at the wrong place or completely wrong. The game is lost after five wrong guesses.
-
Mondo Maze: The player navigates through a top-down maze and has to collect as many starts as possible within the optional time limit. Each square on the labyrinth can be moved or rotated in order to create new ways or trap the enemy blob.
The earned money can be spent in the in-game shop. For sale are cosmetic items for the player character, puzzles and mini-games.
