Street Shuffle

In the year 2105, all highways are mechanized and automated, rearranged by a central computer in real time to reduce traffic congestion. The player takes on the role of an unscrupulous taxi driver, who has outfitted his taxi with a hacking device, allowing him to take control of the highways and ensure his trips are as long and expensive as possible.

Street Shuffle is a puzzle game where you slide tiles connecting roads, to ensure your taxi gets from one corner of the screen to the other. After a initial delay to allow the player to setup some tiles, the taxi starts moving, therefore the player must think quickly to move the tiles and complete the puzzle before it is too late. The game is similar to the "connect pipes" puzzle genre, where instead of a car, it is a liquid that flows. Driving into a dead-end, returning to the starting point, running out of fuel, or repeatedly driving along the same path, all cause the player to fail the level.

The game also includes a strategy element. After completing every level, the player receives money which can be spent on refueling the taxi, repairing damage incurred by crashing, or buying special equipment (which is necessary to avoid damage or crashing on certain roads). The longer the path taken by the player's taxi, the more money is received for that level.
