Swift Classics Board Games

Swift Classics Board Games is a compilation of board game based games with a couple of arcade and puzzle games added as a bonus. The games in this compilation are:

• Backgammon Deluxe

This is a straightforward single player backgammon game. The computer opponent has two levels of difficulty, novice and expert, and the colour of the board can be changed.

• Bomblastic!

This is a single player version of Reversi, also known as Othello, in which the counters used are bombs, When captured the pieces explode and are replaced by a bomb of the opponents colour. The computer offers three levels of opponent to play against, novice, medium and advanced.

• Chess Marvel

This is either a two player game or a single player game against the computer which plays as either a novice, medium or an advanced player. The game has an 'undo' feature and by valuing the pieces in play shows which side currently has an advantage.

• Colossal Word Search

Is a word-search puzzle game with five categories of words to choose from. It also contains a game editor through which the player can create their own categories of words and hence create new puzzles.

• Horse Basketball

There are no horses in this game. This game is played by shooting the ball into the basket from different positions and angles. Each shot is worth 20 points, one point is deducted for every missed shot. The highest score for a game is 180.

• Jigsaw Maverick

Is the a jigsaw puzzle with game where pieces are assembled to complete a picture.

• Juggler

Juggler is a little like Breakout but without the bricks. Balls drop from the top of the screen and the player must keep them in play for as long as possible. The longer the game is played the more balls descend.

• Mancala 2000

Mancala is an African strategy game. This variation, Kalaha, has been played for over 7,000 years. The game is played with stones and the object is to capture as may of the opponents pieces as possible.

• Monte Carlo Patience

This is a single player card game in which cards are dealt face up in a grid. Cards which are adjacent to others of the same rank are removed and the gaps are filled in by un-dealt cards from the stack. When the stack is exhausted the cards on the table are re-dealt to fill any gape. The object is to remove all the cards.

• Rock Slide

Is a Tetris-like game.

• Shark Dominoes

This is a game of dominoes, it gets its name from the shark motif on the back of each tile. Players select ten tiles and play alternately. The first player to play all their tiles wins. if the game reaches a state where neither player can achieve this then the player with the lowest numbered tile wins.

• Strategist Checkers

This is a one or two player game with four game levels of computer opponent.

• Subzero!

This is a single player version of Reversi, also known as Othello, in which the counters used are submarines, When captured the pieces explode and are replaced by a bomb of the opponents colour. The computer offers three levels of opponent to play against, novice, medium and advanced.

• Warui 2000

Wari is an African strategy game that is very similar to Mancala. It too is played with stones and the object is to capture as may of the opponents pieces as possible.
