Tactics: Apple War Game

Description
Tactics: Apple War Game is a strategy war game for the Apple II.
Allows for 1-player versus computer and 2-player versus combat, as the players try to conquer Appland. Each combatant starts out controlling the northwest and southeast portion of a large map divided into 9 squares. A third level of zoom allows the player to place and command individual units. Terrain is divided into water, grass, and mountainous terrains, and the player controls and places a variety of structures including cities, mines, factories, mills, stores, airfields, and forts. These resources must be protected and expanded to support the player's military forces which consist of ground, air, and naval forces.
At the beginning of each game, the player can place their buildings and forces on their portion of the map using the zoomed view. The player must use their resources to construct new military structures and vessels, and the player has the option to command each vessel at the end of their turn.
Players can save their game at the end of a turn to restart play at a later time.
