Taipan

Taipan is a management game, where the player as a ship captain must carry out trade activities resulting in accumulating the sum of 1 million dollars, following the ancient rule "buy cheap and sell expensive". The trade takes place in five cities. Each port is equipped with several of eight available goods. Starting the business requires borrowing money form Sum Yan (15% interest rate) and buying the first ship. New ships can be used to increase the capacity of the fleet or as an extra item for sale. Encountering storm during the trip ends up losing part of the goods.
