Tank Attack

Tank Attack is a 1–2 player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player controls a tank from a top-down perspective, which can spin clockwise or counterclockwise, fire forwards, and move in 8 different directions. The goal is to protect the six valuable supply containers in the center of the screen from enemy raids. Enemy tanks can dock with the supply tanks, and try to pull them off the screen. The player can also recover and move tanks that remain on the screen. Enemy tanks initially have no ammunition, but can return fire if they steal supplies. The player gains points for enemy tanks destroyed, and has an infinite number of tanks. It's game over when all supplies are lost. In two-player games, the players cooperate to protect the supplies.
