Tantei Kibukawa Ryōsuke Jikentan Vol. 10: Eigō-kai Jiken
Description
The leader of a new religious movement has been spreading the word that mankind will perish in July of 1999, but when the time of the prophecy comes, only one man dies: the leader himself. After his body is discovered in a river, it appears he's been the victim of foul play. Unravelling this mystery will require four different protagonists, all working together: a rookie detective, a freelance writer, a college student, and a mysterious informant.
Like previous games in the series, this is a Japanese-style adventure game. Played from a first-person perspective, it's heavily dialogue-driven and features a text-based menu for players to select their options. New to this game is the ability to switch protagonists, and swapping between the four is necessary to unlock paths and unearth evidence.
