The Banished Prince
Description
The Banished Prince is a text adventure for the Electron.
While the player is sitting at home pondering their latest set of history homework, they soon discover they can't find anything on their assigned topic, the Wenylead Kingdom. After searching futilely at the local library, a strange old man thrusts an aged book about Wenylead Castle into the player's hands on the way out the door.
The story tells of a young Prince, banished from his land, accused of stealing some of the King's treasures. His task was to find the treasures and return them to the King, so that he may once again return to his native land and regain his noble title.
The player becomes sleepy as they finish the book and, as they wake up, they find themselves near Wenylead Castle. A voice tells them thy must recover the seven treasures in order to return to their old life.
The player must explore the area around Wenylead Castle in search of treasure. All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature.
