The Berenstain Bears: Volume Two - Learning at Home

Description
The Berenstain Bears: Volume Two - Learning at Home is an educational game that invites players to join Sister Bear in exploring the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. By clicking on different items, players can hear the item's name spoken aloud by a voice actor and watch an animation. In some cases, clicking an item multiple times reveals alternate animations.
Each room features five unique activities accessible through corresponding icons in the user interface. Most activities consist of Actual Factual animations or multiple-choice quizzes. The Actual Factual animations offer behavioral tips for children, covering the topics poison safety, recycling, television habits, fireplace safety, and computer concepts. The multiple-choice quizzes present scenarios like dinnertime etiquette where players choose the correct behavior from three or four options (e.g., “finish food” versus “food fight”).
In addition to these activities, the game includes several more involved activities:
- Calendar: Players locate specific dates on a calendar and explore an Actual Factual section about the seasons.
- Telephone: Players interact with the telephone to engage in conversations with various house friends.
- Snail Race: Players watch a snail race and later identify which bear crossed the finish line first.
- Sound: A matching game where players pair sounds with corresponding images.
- Bee Invaders: An action minigame where players click on bees to prevent them from reaching the beekeeper.
- Piano: Players can listen to three songs, learn to play them on the piano, or simply experiment with freeform play.
The Newspaper activity has four sub-sections:
- Connect the Dots: Players advance through a dot-connecting game that reveals a picture. The player does only click on the "next" button.
- Pick a Path: Players choose one of three words that best matches an image.
- Crossword: A simple crossword puzzle where players receive hints and select the correct answers from multiple options.
- Comic: Single comic panels that illustrate animal facts.
