The CoCo Zone
Description
The CoCo Zone is a graphical adventure for the TRS-80 CoCo.
You are seated in a dingy courtroom enduring heat so stifling that not even the flies have bothered to drop in. You have been tried for theft of the priceless African Jewel, for which you know you are innocent. The judge winks at an overconfident district attorney as he pronounces sentence. A sentence that he nor you fully comprehend. One whose limits are the barriers of the imagination. For you have just crossed over into The CoCo Zone.
As you wake up in your cell, you find a note that your cell has been left unlocked by a friendly guard, and that you must try to escape by faking your death. The player must navigate a series of passageways, find items, and avoid dangers to escape their imprisonment.
As the player explores the hallways, they can look in all 4 directions, and can move in the displayed directions. Hallways are shown by wireframe, and there are several specially displayed graphical rooms. All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and there is a save/restore feature. Available directions are displayed.
