The Game Machine

Description

The Game Machine is a standalone game device that plays four different games as well as serving as a calculator.

  • Shooting Gallery - This game shows a pattern on the game screen. The player must press the button corresponding with the screen position when it appears to shoot it. The player can choose between three patterns: zigzag, cyclic or random.
  • Black Jack - Classic card casino card game. The player is given two cards and can hit or stand with the aim to get a card value of 21 without going bust.
  • Code Hunter - A mastermind variant in which the player must find the hidden four digit code.
  • Grand Prix - A racing game with two lanes. The player can gas, break and switch between lanes to avoid cars. To get the maximum score of 99 the player can't have collisions for 2 minutes and must tactfully use the brake key.

A handheld version was released as Mini Game Machine, Shooting Gallery is renamed as Sub Hunt for it. The 1980 re-release uses both variants.
