Poker Machine
Description
Poker Machine is one of a package of games produced by The Code Zone. Games from this package were used, in various combinations, in around twenty different game compilation packages.
Poker Machine is a single-player game that emulates a video poker machine. The player is given a virtual stake of $100 and bets $1-$5 on whether they can make a poker hand. The amount won depends on the hand and the initial stake. There are three versions of poker available here:
- Straight Poker in which the minimum winning hand is a pair of Jacks.
- Jokers Wild in which the minimum winning hand is a pair of kings.
- Deuces Wild where the minimum hand is three of a kind .
The game is entirely mouse controlled. It is played in a window which cannot be resized. The game has sound, different backgrounds and types of card back, a high score screen, and in-game help screens.
