The Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep (Base Edition)
Description
The Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep is the fifth expansion for The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. It continues the storyline, culminating into the war for Helm's Deep, and adds Western Rohan (Broadacres, Stonedeans, the Kingstead, the Westfold and the Eastfold) as playing area.
The main gameplay addition are epic battles where players participate in different parts of the battle for Helm's Deep. They are played independently from the main storyline and available after reaching level 10. Players take the role of one of three classes (officer, engineer and vanguard) which have different abilities, e.g. the officer tells the soldiers to heal or what enemy type to attack and the engineer uses catapults. There are also secondary objectives which pop op during the siege.
The release of this add-on also marks the re-design of the trait system. Otherwise the level cap was increased to 95 and purchasing the game additionally awards a cosmetic chess piece, an in-game item and 1000 points for the in-game shop.
