Description
It seemed such a long time ago that it happened. In 1989 a vacation by car led Eva and her two children to an abandoned old house. Her kids wandered inside and became trapped by an evil mirror. Eva managed to thankfully rescue Tommy and Charlotte that day but years later the stories told by Eva to her children begin to haunt Tommy. New ownership has taken over the old house and seeing unfinished business Tommy investigates only to be captured once again by the forces of the mirror. Charlotte not knowing who else to turn to seeks your help to investigate what trouble her brother has got into. Your journey will take you through mirrors to incredible lands that must be restored if you want any hope of rescuing Tommy and finally destroying the evil mirror.
The Mirror Mysteries: Forgotten Kingdoms is a sequel to The Mirror Mysteries set many years after the original. Gameplay is the same although a few things have been changed or added. You travel to three large worlds where unlike the original each screen is unlocked so it plays more like a traditional hidden-object puzzle adventure. You still play hidden object scenes, collecting objects that form an image along the bottom of the screen. Once that is done either you’re allowed to place that object where it’s needed or the object gets stored in your inventory to be used in another part of the world. Numerous puzzles must be solved while shards of the broken mirrors can be collected. Like the original, you have a hint system to help you and a journal that keeps track of collected clues.
