The New Starship Voyages

The New Starship Voyages is a space war game heavily inspired by the arcade and microcomputer hit of the same genre, Star Trek. You play as the starship commander and your mission is to fight and destroy the other spacecraft which have plagued the galaxy. This game features three different weapons to dispose of your enemies with, photon torpedoes, phasers, and the ultimate weapon - Corbomite devices which can destroy all enemy ships in the quadrant. The galaxy in which you play within comes in a variety of sizes. Size is measured by the number of levels in the galaxy. This can range from 2, 3, 4, or 5 levels, each of which is divided into 9 quadrants with each quadrant being divided into 81 sectors. Each sector is an X/Y coordinance in which your starship or an enemy could be residing, much like the classic board game, Battleship. The game can be played in one of six different difficulty modes available.
