The Pillagers of Raillore

The Pillagers of Raillore is an adult visual novel set in a post-collapse world where society is shaped by supernatural abilities known as Dunamis. Although these powers are widespread, discrimination persists, particularly against those without abilities and against individuals whose powers fall outside accepted norms.

The story takes place in Raillore, a self-sufficient city built among greenery and rivers, marked by medieval-style architecture and the remnants of a forgotten past. Nation-states no longer exist, and order is maintained by the Regulatory Corps, an organization tasked with law enforcement and the containment of perceived threats.

As unexplained incidents begin to occur, a new phenomenon emerges: individuals wielding powers distinct from Dunamis. Labeled as Errors, these people are feared by the public and targeted by the authorities, accelerating social tension and unrest.

The narrative follows multiple perspectives, centering on individuals connected—directly or indirectly—to the Regulatory Corps and the city’s underbelly:

• Reno, a powerful but emotionally restrained Snatcher, whose personality shifts dramatically when using his Pillaging ability.
• Tilt Blandora, his optimistic Dunamis-wielding partner, who firmly believes in the justice of the system she serves.
• Millialis, a mysterious civilian who operates by her own rules and appears to pursue an unknown objective.
• Graydric, a cynical drifter and former Snatcher, surviving on wit and luck rather than discipline.
• Fi, a warm-hearted tavern worker with a hidden condition that places her at odds with the authorities.
• Easla Eilain, an independent relic hunter whose detachment masks sharp curiosity and formidable power.

Through their intersecting paths, the story explores shifting loyalties, personal freedom, and the cost of maintaining order in a world afraid of change.
