The Vault
Description
The Vault is a text adventure in which the player takes on the role as a private investigator.
One day the player receives a letter from Amanda Derock, the current owner of Derock castle. She writes about the murder of her father, who was found stabbed and hung in an apple tree. The victim had a serpent etched into the upper body and a golden sword was found on the scene. It has now been a year since the murder was committed and because the police has made no progress on the case Amanda now turns to the player for help.
When the game starts the player has just arrived to Derock castle and is standing in the castles entrance hall. It is now up to the player to search the castle from top to bottom for clues so that the crime can be solved.
