Thoughts & Prayers: The Game

Thoughts & Prayers is a game inspired by the epidemic of mass shootings in the United States, and the repeated empty platitudes from politicians in lieu of meaningful gun law reform.

Players are shown a map of the Continental United States, with two buttons below it: "think" and "pray." Targets start appearing on the map representing hypothetical shootings. Players must then click on each button as much as they can, keeping up with the number of shootings. Eventually a button shows up that represents banning assault weapons, but this button does nothing but generate an insult directed at the player like "weak" or "unAmerican."
