Time Fighter

Time Fighter is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a small vessel, which moves in all directions and fires directly forwards. The player must avoid incoming vessels and hitting the edges of the screen. The player starts in 8291 BC fighting dragons, and then goes to 1939 AD to fight warplanes. In the future, the player fights advanced aircraft. The player also avoids invisible mines, which briefly flash on the screen. The player has limited ammo and fuel, and can recharge between rounds from a refueling vessel. The player starts with 5 vessels, and it's game over when all are lost.
