Time Traveller: An Adventure in Time

Time Traveller: An Adventure in Time is a historical quiz game for the BBC Micro.

The player has been stranded in time, and it order to make it back safely must successfully navigate five time zones: The Bronze Age, The Roman Age, The 11th Century, The 16th Century, and The 19th Century. In each section, the player must first answer a gateway question related to that time zone.

After each gateway question, the player enters an arcade component where they must avoid guards or wild animals to reach the time gate at the other side of the level. For every turn the player avoids the enemy, their bonus increases by 10 points. If the player reaches the gate they receive full score, but the score is reduced to 1/10 if they are caught.

The player must accumulate 200,000 points by the time they reach the modern era, or must restart from the Bronze Age.
