Torax

Torax is a side-scrolling science-fiction themed 1-player arcade game for the Apple II.

The player controls a rocket ship which can move vertically up and down. The ship can fire horizontally forward, as the ground scrolls quickly past the player. The player combats small robots which fire towards the player. Some of the enemy ships also carry extra weapon packs which also fire at the player. When a ship or pack is destroyed, the two separate. The player receives 20 points for every ship destroyed. The player has limited fuel. The player has a total of 3 ships, and when all are lost, it's game over.
