U-Ventures: Through the Black Hole

The second in the U-Ventures line, this digital gamebook adaptation revises Edward Packard's Choose Your Own Adventure of the same name, originally published as #97 in that line way back in 1990.

Simple forking-narrative gamebooks, these U-Ventures feature no randomization, skill tests or inventory use; gameplay consists solely of making selections at plot crossroads and then reading, seeing and hearing what happens next from that branch -- until getting to the next choice or reaching one of the game's numerous endings. This one begins with the player on Earth, preparing to be sent on a mission out into the cosmos... with many creative, disparate hypothetical possibilities awaiting on the other side of the event horizon.
