Venture

Venture is both a utility and a video game. It comes with an editor for making your own adventures (savable and playable if registered) and also comes with a couple of ready made adventures: The Caverns of Makalu which focuses on treasure hunting and Starbase Varga which is about surviving an alien invasion . The mechanics in the game consist of octagonal rooms, 9-square grid to interact in each part of a room, a dialogue system for interacting with characters, enemies, a simple combat system, an elaborate inventory system and certain programmed puzzles in the adventure.
