Venturer
Description
Venturer is a 1-player clone of Venture for the TRS-80 CoCo.
The player controls a small character armed with a crossbow, who tries to gather treasure from a number of rooms. Large monsters patrol the hallways between rooms, and the player loses a life if they touch one. The player has no ability to shoot in the passageways, and must avoid the enemies. After entering a room, the player moves to a separate screen containing smaller enemies and treasure. Here, the player must fire upon the enemies, collect the treasure, and then exit out of the room. Back in the passageways, the player must try to navigate to the next chamber. When all treasures are gathered, the player advances to the next level.
