Ultrapede

Ultrapede is a 1–2 player arcade game for multiple systems.

The player controls a small character that can move in all directions at the bottom of the screens and fire directly forwards. The Ultrapede moves horizontally across the screen until it hits an object, and then moves one row down and reverses direction. It will split if shot. Mushrooms block the player's shots, and these take three hits to destroy.

Mushrooms appear where a Ultrapede segment is shot, or are dropped by Brian the Snail who moves across the screen. Deadly spiders creep across the bottom of the screen, and can cost the player a life. When all Ultrapede segments are destroyed, the player starts their next challenge. There are nine levels of game speed, and the player starts with three lives.
