Vertigo

Vertigo is a side-scrolling platformer with racing elements: the goal is to reach the goal as fast as possible. The whole game is controlled with the analogue stick (movement) and an action button. Besides jumping, it is also used to collect power-ups on the way: while there are multiple extra variants, they all greatly improve the player's speed. Chaining multiple power-ups together (collecting them without losing speed in between) rewards a higher boost.

Sometimes the player needs to slide under objects by pressing the stick down. It is also possible to wall jump by repeatedly pressing the action button, but this is only a last resort after hitting a wall and losing a significant speed portion. There are seven levels and two playing modes (time trial and checkpoint race).
