Vietnam Carrier Ops
Description
Vietnam Carrier Ops is an add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.
This add-on makes the aircraft carrier the USS Constellation and the following aircraft:
- A-7 Corsair II
- F-4 Phantom II
- A-6 Intruder
- A-4J Skyhawk
- F-8 Crusader
Where appropriate the aircraft have functioning tailhooks, speed brakes, weapon effects, opening canopies and folding wings. The carrier has on-deck personnel, other planes that taxi on-deck, catapult and arrestor cables and other features including FLOLS - the Fresnel Lens landing system. Some functionality such as AAI traffic, is only available when used in conjunction with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.
In order for the catapult and arrestor cables to function the product installs the utility ArrestorCables (ArrCab) Version 2.5. This must be present, running in the background, before the flight simulator is loaded.
