War of the Vikings
Description
War of the Vikings is an online team-based close quarters combat (CQB) simulation between Vikings and Saxons, set in old England. It is very similar to its predecessor War of the Roses.
A player can choose to join either the Viking invaders or the Saxon defenders, and can equip his character with suitable period weapons and armor for close quarter battles using axe/sword/spear, throwing knives and archery. There is some character skinning, and a few unlockable weapon upgrades, depending on the player characters level and class. Online servers can host games for 4 to 64 players in team deathmatch, conquest, arena or pitched battle modes.
