Whack-A-Word

Whack-A-Word is a Whac-A-Mole style game with a simple premise: left-click all the real words, and right-click the fake words. The game is heavily customizable, and displays statistics after the game is over.

Nine quick combinations of settings are included:

• Any 50: Select 50 words or fakes as quickly as possible.
• 50 Seconds: A timed game.
• Deep Thought: Words appear slowly, but the player needs to decide on each word.
• Speed: Words appear and disappear quickly. Decide quickly.
• Bonus Round: Lots of real words, with only a few fakes thrown in.
• Jiggle 50: Like Any 50, but the words move.
• Spell Checker: Find 50 misspelled words.
• Forever: The game never ends.
• Factory Settings: Select real and fake words until the screen fills up.

Whack-A-Word was distributed as shareware. The shareware version has a timed delay at startup, and disables itself after enough plays.
