Description
WWI Air Fighters: A StrikeDeck game is a single-player, shareware, mouse controlled card game
This game takes its name from the cards used to play the game, the backs of the cards have pictures of allied and German aircraft from the first World War, there's an option in the menu bar that scrolls through the aircraft depicted giving their names and other details.
The game itself is relatively straightforward. Across the top of the screen cards are dealt in five columns of five cards, all the cards except the top card are face down. The object of the game is to remove all of these cards
The player has a deck of cards in the lower left of the screen which they click on to turn over a new card. If the value of the card is a number (1-9)that is equal to or greater than an upturned card from the columns at the top of the screen then the player can remove that card, however if the value of the card is a letter (A-J) then an exact match is needed.
The game has optional sound effects and two methods of scoring.
