Yacht-Z
Description
Yacht-Z is an adaptation of the dice game Yahtzee. In each turn the player rolls five dice in an attempt to score points. After each roll the player can choose to re-roll all or some dice, up to two times per turn. Each turn ends when the player chooses a category in which to score his roll.
The scorecard is divided into several sections, with each section corresponding to a different category and allowing to choose that category three times throughout the game. Categories include: points for matching values (like two fours), sequences (like a small straight of 1-2-3-4), and special combinations like a Full House or Yacht-Z, the latter scoring 50 points for five of a kind. If a player rolls multiple Yacht-Zs, additional points can be earned in the Yacht-Z Bonus category.
The strategy lies in maximizing the points by strategically choosing which category to score in after each roll, with the game continuing until all scoring buttons have been used.
