Zolotoj Teljonok

Description
The Golden Calf (Золотой телёнок in Russian) is a point-n-click graphic adventure game based on the satirical novel of the same name (1931) by the Soviet Russian authors Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov, which is a sequel to another novel by the same authors also interpreted as a graphic adventure game The Twelve Chairs. The game follows the novel's plot very closely, describing a trip of Ostap Bender in a company of his new gang members on the long way from a heart of post-revolutionary Russia to the shores of Black Sea to claim the million of Russian rubles from a "clandestine millionaire" named Alexandr Koreiko. The player controls Ostap Bender most of the time with a minor control of his gang member Shura Balaganov, moving the character from one scrolling screen to another, talking to other characters, collecting and using the inventory items, and playing two timed mini-games in order to change a mood of a certain character.
