Amplitude Studios SAS

Amplitude Studios is an independent game development studio based in Paris, France. It was founded in April 2011 by Mathieu Girard and Romain de Waubert de Genlis, former Ubisoft employees. The studio's first title, the 4X game space Endless Space, was released in July 2012, and was followed by Dungeon of the Endless and Endless Legend.

The company was purchased by SEGA on 5 July 2016. After this, the company would release Endless Space_2, Humankind, and Endless Dungeon. On 8 November 2024, the company became independent again.
