2001: A Space Odyssey Part II
Description
Dave Bouman (you), who finally managed to stop the rebellion of HAL-9000, takes off into space in a space pod in search of the mystery of the Black Monolith. Then, suddenly, the Monolith appears in space and leads you and your space pod to a star gate. Beyond that lies an unknown world that humanity has never encountered before. There is an alien there, preventing you from making contact with the Monolith.
2001: A Space Odyssey Part II is the sequel to 2001: A Space Odyssey that is inspired by the 1968 film of the same name. The object of the game is to follow the floating Monolith and make contact with it five times. This without getting caught by an aggressive alien that follows you everywhere. To fend off the alien, press 'SPACE' plus your movement key at the same time. This will fire a laser. During this time the alien won't move, so if you kick it quickly it will fly away. However, if you stand still for a while, it will regroup and attack you again. There are also obstacles, some of which you can jump over, such as walls. This is not true for all of them. Also, if you fall into a hole, you will not be able to move for a while.
When the REMAIN (the number of times you have left to touch the monolith) reaches zero, you'll go to the next scene. The game ends when there are no more MAN left, or if two minutes go by without touching the Monolith.
