Description
Bug Eyes 2: Starman to the Rescue is a 1-player arcade game for multiple systems, and the sequel to Bug Eyes.
Light years from Earth lies the rusting hulk of the Xxabanean flagship, disabled while on its mission to vaporize Earth by the super-heroine Space Agent Zelda. She managed to destroy its power source, but was captured in the attempt and locked away in the depths of a distant and desolate asteroid. Our hero, Space Agent Starman, must penetrate the defenses of the ship and collect the 25 keys required to free Zelda from her intergalactic prison.
The player controls Starman, who can move left and right, but can not jump or move while falling. Numerous booby traps and aliens pose dangers while exploring the ship. The player has limited oxygen that is refilled by collecting keys, but is lost by movement or coming in contact with a variety of dangers. The player has five refills of oxygen for their adventure. Large elevators allow access to the many floors of the ships, and a variety of moving platforms and teleporters make navigation more complex.
