A Maze in Space

A Maze in Space is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the BBC Micro.

Played from a side-perspective, the player can move in all directions, while alien dangers approach from the right of the screen. The player can shoot directly forwards and drop bombs, and must collect fuel to keep flying. The ship must avoid dangerous space mines and rockets, and will lose points if alien churches are destroyed. Guns or shields can become inoperative, increasing the dangers.

The player must first navigate through the many moons that lie in orbit to reach the planet surface. After that, the player enters a tunnel to the maze below where they search for the alien reactor that powers the planet.
