Star Maze
Description
Star Maze is an unofficial port of Star Maze for the BBC Micro.
The player controls a small ship which can rotate 360 degrees, always firing from the forward cannons. The player can accelerate depending on the direction they are facing. The goal is to collect nine jewels from the maze to complete a level, while avoiding or destroying enemy ships.
The player has rapidly depleting fuel stores, and must gather resources as they explore. If the player touches a wall in the large maze they are exploring they lose a life. Numerous dangers in habit the mazes, including: asteroids that break into smaller pieces if shot, enemy ships that fire towards the player, space eggs which hatch if shot, and spinning alien vessels that move towards the player if shot. If the player is struck by alien fire, they are destroyed. The player starts with a total of four ships, and if all are lost, it's game over.
