Asteroid Storm
Description
Asteroid Storm is a 1-player Asteroids clone for the BBC Micro.
The player controls a small ship that can rotate left or right, accelerate, and shoot forward. The ship also has the ability to hyperspace, or instantly move randomly about the screen.
Numerous asteroids float about the screen and, when shot, break into two smaller pieces, and then two even smaller pieces, until finally destroyed. Asteroids change trajectory when hit.
Spaceships sometimes appear and shoot towards the player. Both asteroids and the player can move off the edge of the screen and wrap around to the other side. When all asteroid fragments are destroyed the player moves to the next challenge.
