Asteroid Belt

Asteroid Belt is a 1-player Asteroids clone for the BBC Micro.

The player controls a small spaceship that can rotate 360 degrees, thrust, and fire forwards. Asteroids appear on the screen, which when hit break into two smaller pieces, and then two even smaller pieces, until being entirely destroyed. The player can hyperspace to a random screen location when in danger. New asteroids appear when all items on the screen are destroyed. Alien UFOs appear, which fire in random directions.
