Alien Destroyers

Alien Destroyers is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player controls a ship that moves laterally at the bottom of the screen, trying to blast all of the incoming alien destroyers. The aliens move as a group until they reach the edge of the screen, move down one space, and reverse direction. Spaceships occasionally fly across the top of the screen.

Three large shields offer protection from incoming fire. Aliens' shots often break into many smaller pieces as they close in on the player. If the player is hit they lose a life, and if the aliens reach the bottom of the screen it's game over.
