Adventures With Fractions
Description
Adventures with Fractions is an educational math game for the Apple II.
Designed to teach students about fractions, the program contains two educational programs designed to teach math basics, as well as an educational fractions game called Ransom.
In Ransom, the player must attempt to rescue a kidnapped prince by paying their ransom of 75 gold coins. The player is presented with three fractions, and must choose the largest. If they are correct, a good monster provides 5 coins. If incorrect a bad monster provides 0 or removes 5 coins. Upon gathering 5 coins, the player presents their coins to the queen, who pays the prince's ransom.
