Conquering Fractions (x, ÷)

Conquering Fractions (x, ÷) is an educational game for the Apple II designed to teach the multiplication and division of fractions.

Contains several educational activities:* Multiplication and Division - Walks the player through adding and subtraction fractions step-by-step

• Fraction Chompers - Allows the player to do either multiplication or division problems. Played on a 4 x 4 board, the player must try to chomp as many fractions equal to a specific number. The player gains points for each correct chomp and loses time for an incorrect chomp. The must try to clear as many boards as possible in a limited time frame.
• What's My Fraction - A 1 - 2 player trivia game, there the player attempts to guess the nature of a fraction by guessing whether the numerator or denominator are above or below a specific number. There are 3 levels of difficulty, and the players gain 100 points for correctly guessing the numerator or denominator. For each question asked, the final score goes down 50, and the player who guesses the fraction first earns the remaining bonus points.
